Queensland Health's Quality and Safety Program

Queensland Health has a number of activities and initiatives that improve safety and quality in our delivery of health care. Areas of activity and resources include:

An Investment In Health: QLD Health Annual Public Hospitals Performance Report 2005-2006
Clinical Governance Policy and Implementation Standards
Consumer Complaints Management Policy and Implementation Standard
Measured Quality Reports
Patient Satisfaction Survey
Variable Life Adjusted Display (VLAD)

There are a number of areas within Queensland Health that manage specific issues on safety and quality. These are primarily grouped under the Reform and Development Division, created specifically for the main purpose of leading the development of a new culture for Queensland Health.
